Initial thoughts: With the spring almost here we were excited to receive the Tippitoes Boost Trike. At 3 years old my son is just that bit too big for it, but at almost 11 months and with a sense of adventure, Elodie was more than happy to test the trike.

We liked: The Tippitoes Boost Trike is easy to assemble and once put together is strong and sturdy. I had no qualms about allowing Elodie to ride on it with the baby surround attached and the padded seat was lovely and comfortable for her.

The Tippitoes Boost Trike, as well as having pedals, also has foot rests for smaller children. Elodie was able to reach these and the handle bars easily. The adjustable parental push bar offers added safety and is comfortable to hold. There is also a very useful utility basket on the back of the trike.

We weren’t keen: When using the adjustable parent push bar it is quite hard to steer the Tippitoes Boost Trike, especially when an over zealous 11 month old is also trying to turn the handlebars in the opposite direction. I also would’ve like a harness with the baby surround.

Overall: The Tippitoes Boost Trike is and excellent, robust, first trike that offers comfort, safety and best of all fun! The only real problem we had was getting Elodie off it when our trip to the park was over!
