“The Playmobil school gym is of my favourite Playmobil sets ever. Compact, loads of play potential, and really good quality.”

I thought this set was gorgeous – half a dozen children in a school gym that comes complete with climbing frames, benches, ropes, basketball hoops, football nets, and even some gymnastic bars.

We liked: I thought the Playmobil school gym set was very detailed given the under £30 price tag, and it was relatively compact – once it’s all assembled (which does take around 20 minutes) the toy is small enough to pop into a plastic bag and take on playdates. Flea loved the fact that there were so many games the children could play – climbing, balancing, football, basketball and even one or two unofficial gym activities involving dangling upside down from high ropes.

We weren’t so keen: If I have one complaint it’s that the set is open, so when it’s being moved around small parts can easily be lost.

Overall: The Playmobil school gym is a really great value alternative to, or addition to the Playmobil school set with loads of play potential and fun accessories that kept Flea occupied for hours. Being Playmobil the quality is very good, and the smaller size makes it much more portable and user-friendly than the larger sets. The Playmobil gym comes heartily recommended.
