Initial thoughts: We are big fans of the Channel Five television programme The WotWots, so the chance to dress our very own SpottyWot toy in a range of different outfits seemed like a great activity. When SpottyWord arrived, I was impressed, as I could see the toy was very educational for a pre-schooler. It actually comes in six different parts, which lets the child create 15 different combinations of outfit. It’s nicely packaged and looks like it’s good quality – definitely not cheap looking.

We Liked: SpottyWot is nicely made from good quality plastic which feels solid. The separate pieces are not too small and so I didn’t feel worried about leaving Toddler Boy to play with it, whilst his baby sister roamed around. The pieces are simply too big to be swallowed. The SpottyWot figurine is actually a very good representation of the one in the television programme.

We weren’t so keen: It would have been really useful if Spottywot had come in his own little space ship in which we could have stored all the pieces. As SpottyWot and DottyWot are brother and sister and pretty inseparable, it is a bit of a shame that even with a toy this small, they are not sold together.

Overall: I will be buying this toy for Toddler boy’s pre-school friends. It’s a good activity toy that ties in with the television programme well. However, it might end up being more costly than I would have liked, as it seems to me, that I will end up buying Dottywot as well!
