Cube
Initial Thoughts
: I really love the concept of this cool cube book, it has 6 “pages” on one side and can be turned inside out to reveal another 6 “pages.” With facts and figures at your finger tips, it promises to combine education and learning with fun, fun, fun.  The cube book comes in several designs ranging from dinosaurs to word forming and is suitable for boys, girls, teenagers, and big people.

We Liked: This fact filled ready reference cube is such a clever design and the designers state “you just can’t put them down” boy are they right, they make for compulsive fiddling and that’s just the adults! I did let the kids have a play too but they had to get in line.

The cube has so many facets with facts and dinosaur time lines  and games including “Hunt the ghost” and Sofia’s favourite “Pork chops and  leaves”  These fun bite sized pieces of information help avoid over-loading children and are so original.  I can’t wait to discover all the other designs the cubes come in as these cubes definitely incorporate the fun factor into learning.

We weren’t keen on:  I can’t think of one single negative –these cube books are robust and durable and promise to last up to 10,000 turns.

Overall: These cubes are clever, educational and offer a tactile format that’s intriguing to kids and adults alike.  The price is fantastic making this the perfect gift and stocking filler.
