“I can’t believe the Aldi Children’s Halloween Costumes were only £5.99 each! Amazing value. I don’t think they’ll last until next Halloween but the girls sure will have fun with them this year”.

Initial thoughts: Aldi sent us three Children’s Halloween Costumes from their Halloween range – a “bat fairy”, a “pirate witch” and a “ghoul”. Despite being typically picky and opinionated little girls, my three (aged 3,5 and 7) were all delighted with the outfits and couldn’t wait to get them out of the box and try them on. I thought they were very creative, and amazingly good value.

We liked:
The bat fairy outfit is red and black satin with netting, and comes with wings and a tiara, which has a black felt bat on it. The pirate witch is perfect for little girls – pink and black and oddly stylish, with a pointy witches’ hat. The ghoul costume is more scary – white, grey and black with a skeleton mask and some nice detailed touches. Each outfit comes with a little pouch where children can stash their valuables.

We weren’t keen:
The bat wings are made of wire and nylon, and didn’t stay open for very long. Some of the items on each outfit are fixed with glue, and I’m not sure whether they’d end up being pulled off over time.

Overall: I can’t believe the Aldi Children’s Halloween Costumes were only £5.99 each! Amazing value. I don’t think they’ll last until next Halloween but the girls sure will have fun with them this year.
