Annabel Tween Doll

Since the day we got the Baby Annabel Tween doll, she’s been everywhere with us.  She wears the sort of clothes that my daughter wants to wear and has lovely long hair that we’ve spent hours styling.  When I asked what was the best thing about her, the answer I got was “Everything, she’s my little friend”.
Buy online: Toys R Us

Initial Thoughts: As soon as I saw this, I knew it would be perfect for my eight year old daughter as she’s starting to outgrow her ‘baby’ dolls.  We’ve always been a fan of Baby Annabel dolls and this is a lovely teenage version with her own stylish outfit and lovely long hair that you can style.

We liked: Bethan loved the fact that the doll came with accessories and had lovely long hair that she could style. As she’s getting older, she’s getting more fashion conscious and is interested in toys like Bratz and Barbie lately and she loves the Tween doll because it’s like a larger version of them that comes with clothes that she would wear herself.
We Weren’t keen : The doll was extremely well packaged in her box – so well that it took about ten minutes to get her out! It’s a good job she was worth the wait. Also, although she does come with accessories, I haven’t seen anywhere that you can buy the accessories on their own which is a shame as I know that we would have bought a few extra outfits for her so that we could have fun dressing her up.
Overall : Bethan’s had great fun playing with this doll.  It’s well made and looks like it could withstand a fair amount of her ‘mothering’.  I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a doll for an older child. There are quite a few dolls to choose from in the range and they all look great.  If ever they start selling the clothes separately, we’ll be the first in the queue.

Great review – she looks just the thing that my 8yo would love – so much better than those Roxy scary dolls that she is currently hankering after!
