Skipping rope

Submitted by on October 25, 2010 – 4:55 pmNo Comment

These skipping ropes are perfect for some good old fashioned fun, my daughter loves them and took sthem to school to show off her new found skipping skills to all of her friends.  Within 3 days of her taking them to school, four of her friends had started to take their skips in and now they spend their breaks skipping away – healthy and fun!

Buyin store: Poundland

Initial Thoughts: I know that Bethan would love these skipping ropes as soon as I saw them, they’re very girly and the wooden handles are made to look like cute little pink and white people.
We liked: I’m an advocate of anything that encourages children to exercise and these cute skipping ropes certainly did that – in the house, in the garden and even on the way to school.  It took me back to when I was younger and I even started to remember some of the old rhymes that I used to sing.
We weren’t keen : Being white they did get dirty quite quickly but to be fair, that didn’t stop her having fun with them.
Overall : Really good value for money and excellent for encouraging children to be more active.  They are well made and sturdy and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a fun, good value money gift.
