An heirloom quality advent calendar that will be passed down for generations to come and become a family tradition in TheMadHouse.

Initial Thoughts: When getting this out, I was overjoyed with the quality of the Lakeland Limited Santa’s Workshop advent, it was well packaged and the polyresin figures, toys and other Christmas bits were packaged in each of the doors with bubble wrap too.  The boys couldn’t wait to get stuck in and I loved the detail in the figures.

We Liked: I loved the fact that the workshop rotated 360 degrees, which gave easy access to the doors and that the figures were polyresin, which means that even if they are accidently dropped that they will survive, which is really important, as the boys were keen to examine and move about the figures and toys and will rearrange them daily.  The workshop is well designed with a felt floor and beautiful decorations too.  The Cubby holes are also big enough to add a small chocolate, if your children still crave them like mine do.  There is something different to look at every time you glance at the workshop, the detail is amazing and the workmanship is second to none.

We Weren’t Keen: I have to say there wasn’t anything that we particularly didn’t like about the Lakeland Limited Santa’s Workshop, yes it is slightly expensive at £59.99, but it is value for money and will come out year after year and I can see my grandchildren enjoying this workshop as the MiniMads will too.

Overall: The Lakeland Limited Santa’s Advent Workshop is an absolutely fantastic heirloom quality advent calendar which will be passed down and enjoyed for generations to come.  A real centre piece to any Christmas theme.
