The Boys’ Annual 2011 is a retro style annual, which is filled with contemporary and fun filled things to read, make and do.

Initial Thoughts: The feel of the boys annual 2011 is very now, it has a real retro boys own feel to it, however, once you take a look inside it is very current and Maxi couldn’t wait to get his hands on it.

We like: Both Maxi and MadDad have been found with their heads buried in the annual and both boys put on a show to me on how to do the Hakka, which they gained from the annual too.  Its contents are varied covering things from astronomy to how to be a spy.

We weren’t keen: There is nothing to dislike about this book.

Overall: This is a fantastic book harking back to my youth and what a treat this would be for any boy on Christmas day.    It is filled with activities, facts, puzzles, quizzes and games.  There is something for everyone.
