Latest Children’s Films

Christmas is getting closer, and now is usually the time when the kids start to think of what they would like as gifts. They might want their favourite film on DVD that they saw in a Vue cinema or perhaps something different relating to that film. Movies like Madagascar, Frankenweenie or even a classic like one of the Toy Story films might give them an idea of what they would like, but the question of which toys is something you might ponder over the next few weeks.

The latest instalment of the Madagascar franchise is currently out in cinemas, and is widely expected to be a hit with younger kids. Madagascar 3 sees the animals wind up in a circus, and the latest toys based on the film’s characters are likely to look different and, to your kids at least, more fun because of it. Soft toys or perhaps even plastic figurines are likely to be the more popular items in the film’s range, but that depends on how good the film is.

Despite being a Halloween film, Frankenweenie is sure to inspire a wide range of toys. Figures of the main character, soft toys or even a spin-off video game for the Xbox, PlayStation or Nintendo DS are likely to be popular amongst kids who see the film. If you have kids who are a little indecisive about what they want for Christmas or their birthdays, it might be worth taking them to see a film, and if they really, really like it, they may want a toy of their favourite character, which will help you and them before the rush to the shops begins.
