Orchard Toys Pirate Snakes and Ladders & Ludo

You really can not go wrong with the classic games and Orchard Toys have really just improved on a classic without fiddling with it too much, which is why Orchard Toys Pirate Snakes and Ladders & Ludo is so successful. A must have for any games cupboard.

Orchard Toys – If you See a Crocodile Game

Another wonderful family game from Orchard Toys, my children love to play this over and over and the screaming when you see a crocodile card has everyone in giggles. If you are looking for a fun, non complicated family activity board game for your little ones I would certainly recommend this game.

Orchard Toys Pick and Mix People Game

The game is really well made and will last the test of time and 2 small boys. You can either play with it like a puzzle (just selecting which pieces go with which, either put together the correct people or to see who can make the silliest combo). There is a game which goes with it, but the 3 year old preferred using the toy like a puzzle rather than a game. The 5 year old enjoys the game but prefers just to see what ridiculous combinations he can put together.

Who’s in the Jungle Talkabout First Puzzle

Jigsaws develop hand-eye co-ordination and manual dexterity as well as being fun for children and since my son completed this for the first time on his own he has gone back to it again and again. Each time, he gets the same look of excitement and pride when he slots the last piece in (shortly before breaking it up to start all over again).

Doodlebugs

Doodlebugs

I was quite excited to receive the Orchard Toys game “Doodlebugs” as I have seen their line of games and puzzles before. It’s also appropriate because Ella’s nickname is Doodles. The game is easy to play and is reminiscent of Uno. It teaches numbers, colours, matching, shapes and taking turns in addition to being quite entertaining thanks to the cute and colourful pictures of the creatures on the cards.
